Rita Copeland, Aristotle’s Rhetoric and the Medieval Preacher

The English Department Medieval Colloquium of Princeton University will be hosting Professor Rita Copeland from University of Pennsylvania, who will be giving a talk entitled “Aristotle’s Rhetoric and the Medieval Preacher.” It will be about the impact of Aristotle’s Rhetoric on late medieval preaching outlooks—using two different preachers (one English, one Swedish) as examples. The talk will be in the Hinds Library, Room B14 of McCosh Hall on November 7, 2019 at 4:30pm. The event is being co-sponsored with the Program in Medieval Studies.
