We are seeking papers for several sessions on the early medieval riddles that allowed writers to explore, order and problematize the early medieval world. In addition to our own area of research (on Old English and Latin riddles), we are especially keen to hear papers examining the diverse range of riddles produced throughout early medieval Africa, Asia and Europe.
