New short courses and postgraduate programmes are now on offer at the Warburg Institute from September 2019.

We've launched a brand new series of language short courses in Classical Greek and Renaissance Latin, booking is now open for all. 

Additionally, we're delighted to announce that the Warburg Insitute will now be offering Masters of Research degrees and Postgraduate Certificates, alongside our two MA programmes

SHORT COURSES

Discover our range of courses designed to help students develop the ability to read sources in the original Latin and Greek:

Beginners Renaissance Latin

9-20 September 2019

This two-week intensive course is designed for beginners and focuses on Latin texts from the fourteenth to the seventeenth century.

Beginners Classical Greek

Mondays, Autumn 2019

An eight-week course which will provide a set of linguistic navigational tools to serve as a springboard for further study of both language and literature.

Late Medieval and Renaissance Latin - Beginners & Intermediate / Advanced

Wednesdays, Autumn 2019 & Spring 2020

These two courses are designed to train students to read and understand late Medieval and Renaissance documents.

MRES PROGRAMMES

Our MRes programmes are ideal for students who wish to research and write on a complex, specialised area of history within the Institute’s field of study that interests them, whilst still having the support of taught modules to help develop the theoretical and methodological skills necessary for such a project.

POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATES

Our Postgraduate Certificates give students the opportunity to pursue a personal or professional interest in their chosen subject whilst gaining a postgraduate qualification. It is ideal for students who want to study at a postgraduate level but who do not want to commit to a full MA.
