Dr. Steven A. Schoenig awarded the John Nicholas Brown Prize by the Medieval Academy of America
Dr. Schoenig earned his PhD from the Columbia University History Department in 2009. His work Bonds of Wool: the Pallium and Papal Power in the Middle Ages (Washington, D.C: The Catholic University of America Press, 2016) was selected by the Medieval Academy of America for the John Nicholas Brown prize awarded annually for a first book or monograph judged to be of outstanding quality by the selection committee.
