Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at The Ohio State University: “Popular Culture and the Deep Past”

The theme for the upcoming event is “The Experimental Archaeology of Medieval and Renaissance Food.” This event will feature a scholarly conference nested within a Renaissance-faire-like carnival (featuring tasting sessions, recipes transcription, book fair, commedia dell'arte, falconry, and activities of all kinds).
