Everyone will be automatically muted when they enter the Zoom session, though you may unmute yourself at the start of the meeting. When the talk begins, I will mute everyone and disable the chat box so we can give the speaker our undivided attention. When we transition to Q&A, I will re-open the chat box. You may ask a question by either using the "raise hand" function (you can find this function by clicking on the "Participants" icon at the bottom of your Zoom screen. A new window will open on the right hand side of your screen. At the bottom of that window you should see the "raise hand" button). Or you may type your question directly into the chat box. Our co-chairs Caralyn Bialo and Lauren Robertson will be moderating the Q&A. For more on how to use Zoom as a participant and how to use the "raise hand" function, you can watch this tutorial.
